The design image that was submitted has not been painted or lacquered. If you have this piece I would be interested to know how it was finished before sale. It was registered on 3rd March 1958 as a mantel ornament by Dino Romei. Dino Romei was naturalised on 12 August 1995 (see certificate details here)
