Brunero Barsetti was a Canadian citizen (as per the National Archives. His registered address was Birch Croft, Dickenson Road, Manchester, but also had a service address, c/o Marks & Clerk, 57/8, Lincoln’s Inn Fields, London. A little bit odd as most designers of chalkware figurines in Manchester used Wilson, Gunn and Ellis.
