April 2022 – Found another photo on an eBay auction that shows a different signature
Added 16/9/19 – This does look like other Nieri pieces, but the Registration number is unusual. I found on the Barneby’s site that this piece is signed by Salvatore Melani (S. Melani) and the word ARNOVA, which I believe is the factory that produced the pieces and based in Belgium
30/10/2019. The second set of images below were found on Artdecolamp.xyz. It is tagged as #Melani, but then the description says Josephine Baker and Barsony Black, so who knows where it fits!
