    I think this is a piece by Gino Manca (1920-1985), an Italian sculptor that lived and worked in Norway.
    A very short Norwegian mini-documentary can be seen here, full with a mind boggling, stunning collection of his exotic figurines.

    Unfortunately there is very little information to be found in the english language
