One of the finest examples of Duron chalkware (in my opinion). In this example, the ladies head is turning to the right, a slight change to the previous piece they made, Kneeling lady (left). It was registered on 5th February 1959, the same time as many other pieces, by Löhnberg. More information on the designers can be found on the About
As per the other lady, this model is incorrectly stamped 885748 on the piece in our collection. Maybe this was a one-off mistake. If you have this piece, do let me know.
