June 2026 – You just never know when you are going to be surprised by something new. I found this piece on eBay (https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/317436898364?mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5338722076&customid=&toolid=10050) . The piece is certainly in the style of Duron and has a very worn gold label sticker that is often found on Duron pieces. The internal product number puts it in between the 6073 Dachsund Dog and 6085 Lady Bust. What it also means is that there is the possibility that there are other animals still to be found?
The registration number would put the piece as registered somewhere between 9th April and 13th May 1959. Lohnberg (only Herbert) had registered a giraffe under 892000 as well, but no record of the internal number.
