Huge thanks to Abby at Atomic Goose for letting me share these lovely images of this piece. It certainly looks like a Nieri. Looking at the database, this would have been registered somewhere between 1st June 1961 and 17th July 1961. This is right in the period when Nieri was registering a lot of pieces. Bacci and Paoli were also busy around this time, but not their style. This should be in record BT 53/245 (another one I have already checked and must have missed it. I had a quick technique for reading each single page by hand – clearly it’s not error free!)
