This is the fifth eggcup in a series of eight registered by Lohnberg on 9 August 1954. They later went on to create the wonderful Duron series. This piece is made from enamelled ceramic and is written “Italy” on the base. Funny – they were based in the centre of London at the time, but I guess this was a way to make the piece look more desirable.
