This is the earliest piece (registered 9th August 1954) I have found by Lohnberg and is the first in a series eight. Lohnberg went on to design the wonderful DURON designs. It looks like Lohnberg started using enamelled ceramic before chalkware.
This piece was registered on 9th August 1954, this is 2 years before the DURON range was registered. Must have been successful enough to keep trading!
