This is another great example of Duron bookends. I haven’t got the details for the registration date yet (another National Archives visit needed), but it is clearly a Duron example. The pieces also have the ‘DURON Made in England’ sticker on the base.
Sadly there is no record in the National Archives for the original images, so it is possible that the design application was abandoned.
The 6001 model is the same as shown here, but without the square base.
What is the approximate value of these early Duron pieces?
