Here is another example of a figurine that looks similar to a Duron, but is in fact the work of the Paoli Bros. (see other post for details on these guys).

The design is less african chalkware but more indian looking holding the vases. It is also not painted black in the registered design that was originally submitted, but is in the example in my collection. The product code is also not the normal 6xxx.
