[September 2021] – My wife managed to find this lovely piece and very pleased to now see it in her collection
This is the 5th example in a collection of 8 pieces with an animal theme under the Duron brand that was registered by Löhnberg on 5th February 1959. As with the other pieces in the series, the design was originally submitted to British Trade on 22nd August 1957, but I have no information that explains why this took so long to finally be approved
It has the famous ‘DURON Made in England’ on the base.
